  1. Wow, this is such a cool read! Just goes to show how hospitable Filipinos can be, esp in the rural areas. Have more stories of kindness…hmmm…you’ve given me an idea for a blog post haha

    • Thanks Aleah. Nakakatuwa yung mga ganitong kwento, masnakaka-engganyo lumakbay.

Salamat din sa pagshare ng experience niyo. πŸ™‚

  2. nakakaiyak naman toh kasi lalo na for me na solo traveler, i have countless number of stories to share. kaya kahit ano man ang sabihin nila i still believe in the goodness and kindness of people. πŸ™‚ Sarap matulog reading these kinds of stories.

    • I hope to read your stories on Filipino Hospitality sa blog mo bro.
Have a safe trip. πŸ™‚

  3. I’m sure there are still many instances of kindness on the road. It’s really touching and it makes us think that this world is actually a nice place to live in despite of the negative things we often encounter in life.

    • It also makes me feel safer na maraming taong tulad nila. We just have to pay it forward. πŸ˜€

Thanks Claire sa pagshare ng experience niyo. πŸ™‚

  4. I still believe and will not lose my grip on believing that there will always be like these people in our country. Patuloy akong maninindigang marami pa ring mabubuting Pilipino.

first time ko mag solo trip, i went for a daytrip to iloilo (was heading to caticlan to meet my friends). it was nearing end of the day for me so i decided to just ride the jeep going to the place where i was staying. pero dahil natuwa pa ko sa views na nakikita ko, nagroundtrip ako. sa front seat ako nakaupo so malamang mapansin ng driver na naikot ko na yung ruta niya but i initially paid the minimum. nung malapit na ko bumaba, i handed him extra fare, told him kasi nga nagroundtrip na ko, sabi niya, hindi na daw at smiled, tapos sabi magenjoy daw ako sa iloilo.
