  2. “The more you do backpacking in the Philippines the more you help Filipinos to have a sustainable income for a living.” — I truly agree! i will spend my hard-earned money here in the Philippines and help fellow Filipinos earn a living… 🙂 hope more Filipinos will think the same way… good luck sa #12For2012Trip!

    Hi Josiah,
Good plan. I hope you will include
the highlights of the places featuring also some locals and delicacies for “take home”.
    Palawan, aside from the Underground
River, Calauit Island (Safari Park) is very interesting. I hope you will
take photos on Giraffes and Antelopes
strolling on the Beaches. This will
be awesome because this is not possible anywhere in the world.
    I will be in Salcedo>Sulangan>Guiuan
in April to middle of June, end of
June in Tacloban City for Sangyaw
    Festival and Trade Fair.
I hope experienced Underwater Videographer will visit Guiuan because I will organize a contest.

  4. I’ll be travelling 12 destinations this year too. And we even went to Hundred Islands and Bolinao on the same weekend! Looking forward to your blog entry! 😉

    Sayang nga na magkakasalisihan tayo.
I suggest that you combine your
destinations like Feb. & March for
Palawan. Then you can attend the
Ferdinand Magellan Landing Festivities in Guiuan on March 16th. The Mayor
    arranges yearly transportation to
    Homonhon Island,a day before. Anyway
I will request her to invite you. You can invite 2 companions who
    enjoys Snorkeling and Diving. Anyway
3 Filipinos can accommodate in one Room. Pag na “meet” ko ang aking
schedule of Activities, I will try
to be in Guiuan on March 15th.
Whenever you are in Palawan, try to
ask for their local music Instruments. I was entertained there
by mountain residents playing a Bamboo Flute and home made Guitar,
different from that of Banaue & Cebu.
Bohol & So. Leyte can also be combined up to Surigao del Norte
    by water transportation similar to
Marinduque, Romblon & Boracay Islands. It is advisable today to
fly by Air to the Visayas & Mindanao
because there are many cheap promo
fares of Cebu Pacific Air , Airphil
    Express, etc., then Roro Roro
between the Islands. Luzon can be
    travelled later because Airfares and
Airport Fees will surely be more expensive. Have Fun!

    • Sayang! Dibali sa susunod nalang and hopefully I get to meet with the mayor of Guiuan when I get there. I think highly of Guiuan being one of the major tourist destination. Hopefully, I would compile it well to give justice to its beauty. 🙂

  6. Hello there, I hope that in July you will also take time to visit Northern Samar and see the magnificent rock formations in the town of Biri. Pasensya na, nakita ko lang kasi sa list mo ay Samar at Eastern Samar lang. They are only two of the three provinces that comprise Samar Island, the other is Northern Samar and that’s where I proudly came from 🙂 Sana ay marating mo rin ang rock formations sa Biri.

This is a great project, by the way. I’m an itchyfeet, too, and I hope I can also travel to more places this year. I wish you good luck and keep safe on your travels.

    • Maraming salamat Inggo. Yung ginagawa ko humihingi ako ng maraming numbers from different providers para kapag hindi na active yung isang number at least may iba pang option. Enjoy your travel to Bolinao and Alaminos this July. 🙂
