Currently, I’m in my late 20’s and for my birthday this year I’m going to be in my later 20’s. One fact still remains, I haven’t stepped out of the Philippines.
Why’s that? I made a promise to myself that I would not travel outside the country up to the year 2012.

When I graduated from college people asked me on what my plans were. I said I’ll work.
They said where. I answered in Metro Manila.
They said I should work on other countries. I said no.
Do I have any travel plans to travel outside the country. I said yes.
I asked if they have any recommendations on where to travel around the country. Most of them answered they don’t know anywhere nice.
Some even said there’s really nothing nice about the country.
It had a big impact on me.
I made a promise to show others that a great experience can be found here.
There was a time when I asked the people around me on where to travel, their only option was outside the country. I’m glad that the time where the first option was outside the country has ended.
With that, my promise has ended. I’m now willing to travel outside the country.
Share my experiences to other human species in the hopes that it would encourage them to visit here.
Compare their methods to our methods. Learn from other countries as I have learned here.
With that I’m traveling outside the country. But most of the time you’ll see me here in Philippines on top of jeeps, walking through mountains, swimming through rivers, eating in karinderyas, drinking in sari-sari stores and getting wet on splashy boat rides.

Cheers on your first passport stamp and your first country experience outside the Philippines! I’m sure it will be memorable. 🙂
Thanks Claire! I’m excited on my first trip outside the country. 😀
I wonder when will I be able to travel outside the country too.
I still haven’t even traveled around the country. I need to finish traveling the country first, then outside of the country afterwards. I don’t want to work outside the country too. It’ll be more like traveling rather than working there.
