After our Food Trip in Kainget, Jules suggested that we try The Buzz Cafe inside Island City Mall in Tagbilaran City. According to her it was a branch of Bohol Bee Farm located in Panglao Island. I’ve heard lots of stories about Bohol Bee Farm but due to our time constraints we cannot get there. Thus, The Buzz Cafe is a perfect alternative.
Since we just came from Kainget, Jules ordered a Squash Muffin and Guyabano Juice while I ordered Honey Glazed Ham Sandwich and Guyabano Shake for snacks.
Why Honey Glazed Ham Sandwich? I just thought that if Bohol Bee Farm has bees, for sure Honey would be one of their main product. I might as well taste their honey. And when my order came, I was a bit surprised by its size, it was fairly big for a snack. It was like a second lunch and it was delicious! A perfect combination of honey, lettuce, spices and toasted bread.
They also had other products in the store including some ice cream with flavors of Mango, Buko, Avocado (seasonal), Malunggay, Ube, Pandan and Spicy Ginger.
Next time I go back to Bohol I’ll definitely bring more friends. The more people I am with the more chances of our group ordering different food and the greater chances of me getting to taste The Buzz Cafe’s food. 🙂
