Free transportation, food, drinks, activities and everything is all well planned out! Who can say no to that? I know I would, but I didn’t have enough reason to say no. So I did what I should do and joined our company outing. 🙂
Seeing other employees/friends not in their usual office attire but in their casual/porma attire was something new to me. Some were going around and greeting people and some were occupied attending to the needs of their children. When you sum it all up, chaos is what you get. Luckily the company outing committee knew this would be a problem, and the solution they made was to deploy the peace and order family, the MARSHAL family.
And after 3 hours of bus ride we arrived at Club Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas.
I’m not a fan of resorts, but here are the things I liked about Club Balai Isabel
- The room has wood! I’m a big fan of wood and the room has ample amount of it and the white and the brown really made a difference.
- The view of Taal Lake from the room was nice too.
- If you’re into looking at flora, Club Balai Isabel has a lot of these.
- You can also try kayak.
- And Taal Yacht Club is just a tricycle ride away. This is where you can rent a sail boat and try sailing. This is actually the main reason why I joined the company outing. 🙂
The food there was not great. The “buffet” we had was small in serving and the food tasted just OK.
When night came, the company itinerary was to eat, drink and party!
The Company Outing Committee also made a programme for us to enjoy while dining.
And since I am no alcoholic drinker nor a party animal, I decided to create my own “photobooth” for free to cater to the “needs” of my officemates.
And when I got tired I just went back to our room and slept, for tomorrow would be another pictureful day.
And my adventure to get to Tagaytay begins.
