It was still almost 4PM, when we found a tricycle on our walk from DENR Sibuyan Substation, so we decided our luck to visit Lambingan Falls before we head back to Sanctuary Garden Resort. We negotiated first on how much we would be paying the tricycle driver and once we agreed on a price (sorry I forgot, but I think it was 300 Pesos) we rode the tricycle and directly went to Lambingan Falls.
It took us 20 minutes to get to Lambingan Falls. We were greeted by the staff of the Lambingan Falls and were told to pay the entrance fee to enter the falls.
After paying together with out tricycle driver we walked to the trail to the falls. I was happy to see that the development of the waterfalls was like in Dagubdob Picnic Grove where they used little concrete to improve the waterfalls.
Bridges were made by riprapping of rocks.
When they have to use PVC pipes to deliver water to other areas of the falls they covered them with cloth made from indigenous materials so that it would still look natural.
One of the structures that got my attention was the shower below where the water looked like it was going out of bamboo poles.
Then slowly but surely we went up through the different cascades of the waterfalls. Sometimes passing by other visitors as they were swimming or just sitting by the rocks.
When we reached the top most level of the falls, I decided to take a dip as I could no longer see myself swimming at the dam near Sanctuary Garden Resort.
After my quick dip, we started going back to the entrance and ride back the tricycle to our lodge. The total time we stayed at Lambingan Falls was just around 55 minutes.
