I’ve been to Bolinao and Alaminos, Pangasinan before but the details in my memory was a little bit too hazy for me to create a travel guide, that’s why I included them in the 12 for 2012 Travel Project.
I was planning to do it solo. The truth is, I was afraid that the budget would skyrocket because I had to pay expenses that could be paid by groups. Luckily Laiza of Azial: Ang Batang Gala texted me and was looking for a quick getaway from the city life. I explained to her that the travel is aimed to document places than to relax, but I will try my best for us to have extra time to relax & enjoy the places. She agreed and we find ourselves in the bus station in Cubao ready for a 2 day fast-paced adventure in Pangasinan.
Without further ado, I present to you the expenses I had during our trip.

Author’s Note
Originally, I was planning to do the Bataan-Corregidor Trip solo but during my research it was too expensive for me so I decided to change the location for the first destination of my 12 for 2012 Travel Project to Bolinao & Alaminos, Pangasinan. Hopefully, next time I would be blessed with a budget to do backpacking in Bataan & Corregidor.

Cool project! good luck in your future trips!
Thanks Ding! Cheers for more travels this 2012! ๐
Did you include all the expenses for the tricycle? Day tour cost around 800 bucks. Your posting only included 100 to and from the Marine Institue. Is there a cheaper mode of transpo around Bolinao?
