Whenever I do kayaking, Island Hopping or whitewater rafting I always ask myself if I should be bringing my cellphone, camera and my valuables. The truth is I hate worrying about things especially delicate electronics during wet activities that’s why a protective covering for them is a must. That’s why I love the OtterBox WaterProof Casings. It’s waterproof and it’s really sturdy.
Sturdy enough to be even driven over by a car with an iPhone inside. You can even go 100 feet underwater too!
From the TenkieBox website, there are 6 sizes you can choose from. For me, I would go for the OtterBox WP-2500, it has the perfect size to fit my small camera, my phone and my wallet in it, and still leaves a few space for some small items. Perfect for placing your valuables during Island Hopping, Kayaking and Whitewater Rafting.
Maybe I could do the most daring thing I’ve done during my travels again, but this time with a smaller camera and with a higher confidence that water will not be sipping into my waterproofing case.
The only downside that I see with the casing is that when you do not need it is somewhat bulky because of the rigid casing. But then again, the lesser your worries, the more fun your travels will be.

Too bad that can’t fit a camera 🙁
and crap! that’s cheap for an otterbox, a phone case from them costs 2,500– or i was ripped off?
Hi Lauren! It can fit a point-and-shoot camera, not a dSLR camera. I’ve tried it. 😛
Nope, you were not ripped off. According to TenkieBox.ph prices could go up to 2,850 Pesos for their phone cases. OtterBox Waterproof Cases are much cheaper than their Phone Cases. 🙂
astig to. lalo na sa mga island hopping and trekking during the wet season.
salamat sa pagdaan sa eskapo.
panalo to for island hoppings!
i wish i had this case when we visited Digyo Island in Leyte. the waves were so big that we were really drenched. my family loves beaches and island hopping so getting dry is not really an option 😛
