I always find joy in flying because it makes me see a different perspective of everyday things. With a different perspective comes a different set of thoughts and mumblings.
Yesterday, I took pictures while on the flight since I got the window seat. Let me share to you a piece of my mind when I see things from above.
Photo 1: Metro Manila
I wonder which of the plains of Metro Manila were palayan before. Is this a major reason why we became importers of rice than an exporter?
Where are the mango trees of Manggahan and the santol trees of Santolan?
Photo 2: The park at the Manila Bay
All I know is that this park is along Manila Bay but I do not know where it is. I already saw the sunset of Manila Bay from Mall of Asia but I think this place has a totally different feeling and beauty of the sunset.
Photo 3: Fish Pens
Also in Manila Bay. I wonder how it feels like to be someone who is guarding fish pens. Everyday I get to hang out in the middle of the sea. Sometimes no one to talk too. There’s that danger during typhoons and I don’t get to talk to many people everyday. At least I get to see the Manila Bay sunset every afternoon if it’s not cloudy.
Photo 4: Corregidor Island
I wanted to go to you last January but since you boat rides going to you are expensive I cannot visit you. I wanted to walk around and see the war memorials you have.
Photo 5: Sea of clouds above the sea
How does it feel to be a cloud? Just relaxing and flying very slowly at the sky. Seeing things from a different perspective. Are you apathetic to what is happening to us or not? I guess not, because when we needed spanking because we were bad people you send typhoons on us to teach us a lesson.
Photo 6: Questionable Island
Are you a letter S or are you a duck?
Photo 7: Island in Honda Bay
I wonder what island are you. When I see you from the usual perspective will you be as charming as when I see you from the sky? Do you have beautiful corals that makes me enjoy when I swim there. You sand looks so fine but is it really fine?
Seeing a different perspective from the flight, it made my mood to be more positive than it was. I’m now recharged and ready to travel again.
nice thoughts and reflections pre!
Salamat pre! 🙂
