How to get to Quezon, Palawan

Here are some of the transportation I found out on how to get to Quezon, Palawan when I visited the Tabon Caves Complex.

Leonard Shuttle (Van)

Leonard Transport Service Van at Quezon, Palawan

Puerto Princesa to Quezon
Schedule: Every hour from 5AM to 6PM
Fare: 200 Pesos per person
Estimated Travel Time: 2.5 to 3 hours
Terminal is located in San Jose Terminal in Puerto Princesa
Puerto Princesa contact number: 0909-559-9659

Quezon to Puerto Princesa
Schedule: Every hour from 4AM to 4PM
Fare: 200 Pesos per person
Estimated Travel Time: 2.5 to 3 hours
Terminal is located in Quezon Transport Terminal

How to get to Carabao Island, Romblon

Boat from Caticlan, Aklan to Carabao Island, San Jose, Romblon

From Caticlan Airport, Aklan

From Caticlan Airport ride a tricycle by saying to bring you to the place where the boat to Carabao Island. Tricycle fare is 50 Pesos/tricycle. Travel Time is less than 10 minutes.

Locals populary call Carabao Island as Hambil, you might want to use this when asking around.

From here there will be boats leaving for Brgy. Poblacion or Brgy. Lanas in Carabao Island. All the boats here will be leaving around 8:30 AM daily. Only one trip per day. Fare is 80 Pesos/person. Travel time is 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Going back to Caticlan Airport

From Brgy. Poblacion and Brgy. Lanas passenger boats will be leaving Carabao Island around 5:30AM daily. Fare is 80 Pesos/person. Travel Time is 45 minutes to 1 hour.

From Boracay Island, Aklan

There are many small boats that ferry residents of Carabao Island that work in Boracay Island daily. Locals popularly call Carabao Island as Hambil, you might want to use this when asking around.

These small boats can be found in Bulabog Beach and will be going to either Brgy. Poblacion or Brgy. Lanas of Carabao Island. Just ask around on where to find these boats when you arrive in Bulabog Beach. They leave around 2PM to 5PM. Just ask around the beach to find them. Fare is 50 Pesos/person. Travel Time is 30 minutes.

Going back to Boracay Island

From Brgy. Poblacion and Brgy. Lanas, the small boats ferry back people to Boracay Island around 5:30AM to 7AM. Though I advise your ride only until 6AM as after that there are very few boats leaving to Boracay Island. Fare is 50 Pesos/person. Travel Time is 30 minutes.

10:00 PM Assembly at Ohayami Trans, Manila
10:45 PM ETD to Banaue (Bus) – P500 / pax
Day 1 Friday
7:00 AM ETA Banaue; Buy return tickets to Manila via Ohayami Trans – P500 / pax
7:30 AM Breakfast
8:30 AM Hire Tricycle to tour you on the 5 Viewpoints of Banaue Rice Terraces
11:00 AM End of Tour; Early Lunch
12:00 NN Go to market to check if there are jeeps to Saddle, Batad; Tell the driver of the jeepney that you are riding
12:30 PM Hire tricycle to take you to Cordillera Sculpture Museum
12:40 PM ETA Cordillera Sculpture Museum; Pay entrance fee – P100/pax
2:00 PM Start walking back to Market
2:30 PM ETA Market
3:30 PM ETD Saddle Point, Batad (Jeep) – P150/pax
5:00 PM ETA Saddle Point; Tell the driver that you are going to ride back to Banaue 2 days after; Rest and Stretch
5:10 PM Start Trek to Batad Town Proper (Downhill)
6:10 PM ETA Batad Town Proper; Register & Donate at BETGA; Hire guides for tomorrow; Walk to lodging
6:20 PM ETA Lodging; Order food then rest; Washup
7:30 PM Dinner; Pre-order packed breakfast
  Lights Off
Day 2 Saturday
5:45 AM Wake Up and get ready for the trek around Batad
6:30 AM Breakfast
6:30 AM Meet with guide and Start walk to the Highest Rice Terrace of Batad, Patte; Bring water and snacks
7:30 AM ETA Patte; Sit down and talk about life. 🙂
8:30 AM Walk down to Tappiyah Water Falls
9:15 AM ETA Tappia Falls; Enjoy, bath on the basin of the falls and eat snacks (Bring back your trash)
11:15 AM Walk up to Main Village of Batad;
11:45 AM ETA Main Village; ask questions about the Main Village from your guide.
12:00 NN Walk back to Lodging
12:45 PM ETA Lodging; LUNCH!!! Pre-order food for Dinner
1:30 PM Rest
4:00 PM Have coffee at Rita’s Mount View Inn, check out the view in Simon’s Inn or go around and check out BETGA to know what else you can do in Batad
7:00 PM Dinner at Lodging
  Lights Out
Day 3 Sunday
5:45 AM Wake Up; Prepare to go back to Banaue
6:00 AM Breakfast
7:00 AM Walk back to Saddle Point to catch the 9AM Jeep to Poblacion, Banaue
8:30 AM ETA Saddle Point; Rest and have some bananas
9:30 AM ETD to Banaue (Jeep) – P150 / pax; Topload at the left side of the jeep.
11:00 AM ETA Poblacion, Banaue Market; Early LUNCH!!!
1:00 PM Go to Banaue Museum
3:00 PM Food trip in Banaue Market
5:30 PM Go to Ohayami Station
6:00 PM ETD to Cubao/Sampaloc, Manila

2:00 AM ETA Cubao/Sampaloc, Manila
