How to Get There

While Manny Pacquiao was fighting Antonio Margarito last Sunday, Ruth (Project7107) and I were looking for Abe’s Farm. Coming from Clark Airport, we just knew that Abe’s Farm is in Magalang, Pampanga problem was we don’t know how to get there. In this type of situation the only plan would be to call some friends who are familiar with the place and ask locals for directions. Below are the list of problems we had during the exploration

  1. Manny Pacquiao was fighting. There were very few people on the streets! Fewer people, lesser information gathered.
  2. Incomplete Directions. The people on the road that we were asking were giving us only snippets of the full information, it was like completing a jigsaw puzzle with puzzle pieces scattered throughout Pampanga.
  3. Unpopular with the Locals. When we asked for directions to Abe’s Farm, the locals gave us the questioning face. They didn’t know that Abe’s Farm existed! Good thing that Saysay told us to ask for directions to Magalang Rehab when interacting with the locals.

And after of almost 1 hour on the road and questioning the locals we arrived at our destination, Abe’s Farm.

Double Happiness

April 19, 2010 by Josiah Leave a Comment

Imagine you are on a bus heading to Zambales and you just passed by Dau, Pampanga. You are talking to your seatmate and then suddenly you stopped speaking. The temperature from the aircon was just right but cold sweat is still coming out of your pores. Everytime someone touches you, you easily get irritated. You don’t want to talk. You don’t want to smile.

Yes. Nature is calling.

Then suddenly you see this

The feeling of ease crept down from your head to your feet.

Wrong move. The muscles that were stopping nature from fulfilling its duty was now relaxed. Nature is fast coming.

As soon as the bus stopped, you quickly went down and quickly searched for a sign.
