Guiuan Transport Terminal in Eastern Samar

November 27, 2011 by Josiah 6 Comments

When I went to Guiuan I was looking forward to seeing the 16th Century Church, the beaches of Calicoan Island and their airport. I never knew that one of my most memorable places in Guiuan would be their Central Transport Terminal.

Guiuan Transport Terminal

Guiuan Transport Terminal is actually built on a reclaimed land like SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. It does not only cater land transportation but it is also where you can ride boats to Homonhon Island, where Ferdinand Magellan first landed in the Philippines, and Manicani Island. Though I’m not sure if they also have rides going to Suluan Island.

Another reason why I love the Transport Terminal in Guiuan is their FOOD!!!! Dining beside the sea, breathing and feeling the fresh air, eating fresh delicious foods with the budget of an eatery. I only paid 40 Pesos for my pork steak and 5 Pesos for a cup of rice.
