Super Five Bus at the quick stop at Laguindingan Intersection

I was born in Iligan City. And ever since our family moved to Manila, I’ve been constantly traveling the route of Iligan City to Cagayan de Oro City (CDO). As far as my memory can remember, I’ve been riding Super Five even when I was still attending school.

So when I came back to Iligan City last May 24 to June 3, 2014 I rode with them again.

Below are 3 short stories of what I experienced on their routes.

  • Cagayan de Oro to Iligan City
  • Iligan City to Cagayan de Oro
  • Iligan City to Laguindingan International Airport (LIA)
  • Laguindinan Airport to Iligan/CDO (Notes only)

Additional Notes

  • Leg room
  • Seat Incline
  • Iligan City Terminal
  • Cagayan de Oro Terminal

Daytripper: Comfortable Ride from Puerto Princesa to El Nido, Palawan

April 4, 2013 by Josiah 18 Comments

Lately, there has been a talk around town that a new bigger van was passing by the National Highway to transport people from Puerto Princesa to El Nido and vice versa. When I asked what was the name of the operator, the locals would say Daytripper.

Daytripper Palawan

Daytripper Palawan – Executive Coach

I called some of my friends on their way to El Nido and frankly after the call I had a I-badly-need-a-vacation mood! Unlike my first visit to El Nido with a tight budget, I want this trip to be a relaxing rest and recreation. Go as comfortable as possible. Eat pizza, pasta and sisig since I rarely had any of those here in the rural areas. Sleep in an aircon room. And get a comfortable ride to El Nido and Daytripper was perfect.
