First Video: My Volunteering Experience

January 9, 2012 by Josiah Leave a Comment

Since the beginning of 2011 I seriously wanted to try making videos of my travels. Unfortunately, I only had a dSLR that has no video recording. That’s why when I learned that my cousin, Cuckooh, brought a camera with a video when we went to Iligan for the Christmas vacation of 2011, I asked if I could borrow it for a while and try out my videographer skills and she said yes. Yahoo! 🙂

Unfortunately (again), the video is not about a happy, leisurely travel where you get to see people swimming beside the beach, trying food delicacies or having a good laugh with friends. The video is about my volunteering experience in Iligan City after it was hit by Typhoon Sendong.

With a lot of trial and error, especially on the video editing part, I present to you my very first video!

Now that the camera is back with my cousin, I’m back to I-wish-I-have-a-video-camera mode. 🙂

Help while you can. Help without expecting anything in return. Help Iligan.
