The truth is there are a lot of lodgings you can find across the big island of Romblon but on this post I will only focus on the town center of the island because this is where you can
- Eat street foods during night time
- Eat the freshly baked Boknoy Siopao
- See what the locals are doing in their freedom park, especially during the night time
- St. Joseph Church is located there
- Climb to Fort San Andres
- Visit the Public Market
- Go around town and see the old houses there
- The port is located there too so you can ride boats going to Sibuyan Island, Tablas Island, Banton Island and Cobrador Island
I’m one of those people who would like to go to an isolated place and just feel the quiet nature in an area but for Romblon Island. I prefer staying in town as there is something in the people of Romblon Island that is unique and worth observing.
Anyways, below are four lodgings that I have visited when I was there.
1. Parc Bay Mansion
Not the cheapest of all the lodgings that are located in town but I highly recommend this as it is located in front of the pier. You can also go to the roof top to see a better vantage point of the surroundings.

2. Marble House
This one is the nearest lodging to my favorite Boknoy Siopao. I had a hard time finding this lodging as there was no sign that says ‘Marble House’ so I had to ask around and they pointed me to a hardware shop. It turns out the hardware shop is where one should inquire for the marble house because the hardware shop is in the Marble House.
After talking to the owners of the lodging and the hardware I quickly went outside and saw the outside of the four floors of the building was covered in marble. And when I went inside it was still covered in Marble. This lodging shows what Romblon is proud of and that is their world famous marbles.

The Muravian Hotel is also near the Boknoy Siopao and located inside the town. Less than 5 minute walk from the port.

4. De Vera’s Lodging House
This is the cheapest lodging that I found in the town of Romblon and it is also located in front of the port.
Dormitory Type | P100/pax/night | Common CR |
There are more lodgings inside the town of Romblon but these are the 4 accommodations that I have visited.
Most of the lodgings do not serve food but that’s good things as there are many places where you can eat inside the town. I’ll make another post on Where to eat in the town of Romblon.
Tip: According to the locals there’s a tunnel inside the church that dates back to the Spanish era. 😉
